Available June to September, NZ Our bare-rooted plants are sent during their natural winter dormancy. This means they may appear leafless (unless they’re evergreens like conifers), but rest assured — they’re healthy and ready to grow. Bare-root trees are a smart, sustainable, and economical choice for gardeners and growers alike. Shipped without soil while dormant, they’re lighter, easier to handle, and establish quickly when planted at the right time of year. Please Note:
To ensure safe delivery, we may need to prune your tree to fit within courier size limits. This initial cut also serves as the tree’s first winter prune. You’re welcome to prune it further upon arrival to shape it according to your preferred training or structure.
