$9.00 - Chrysanthemum Plug Plants supplied as a 3cm x 5cm coir and peat plug.
$13.00 - Chrysanthemum plant supplied in a 7cm pot
When you receive your plugs or 7cm potted plants, either pot them up or plant them out into their permanent positions. Water as needed, but take care not to overwater. For the best results, protect young plants from snails and slugs.
Chrysanthemum ‘Kokka No Kotabuki’ is a Japanese-bred cultivar known for its intricate, sculptural blooms, making it a true standout in both the garden and floral arrangements. The lower petals curve downwards and hug the stem, forming a skirt-like base, while large, incurving petals sit proudly on top. It’s a strong, hardy plant that performs reliably and rewards with exceptional form.

Blooming Period: April to May
Suitable For: Cut flowers, garden displays, and exhibitions

  • Staking or netting will be beneficial in windy conditions.
  • Watering: Maintain consistent soil moisture, ensuring good drainage to prevent root rot.
Special Features & Uses
  • Versatility: Ideal for garden beds, borders, and containers, as well as for use in cut flower arrangements due to its sturdy stems and long vase life.
