Chrysanthemum ‘Glad Eye’ is a distinctive single-flowered chrysanthemum recognised for its cheerful, open blooms and strong garden performance. The flowers feature soft yellow petals surrounding a prominent, darker central eye, creating excellent contrast and strong visual appeal. The open form makes it especially attractive to pollinators and well-suited to naturalistic plantings. Glad Eye has been of value to the plant breeders.
Flowering occurs in the mid-chrysanthemum season, depending on pinch timing and regional climate. With regular pinching and good cultural practices, plants develop strong stems and balanced branching. This is a great cultivar for the Show bench, often claiming top prizes.
