$9.00 - Chrysanthemum Plug Plants supplied as a 3cm x 5cm coir and peat plug.
$13.00 - Chrysanthemum plant supplied in a 7cm pot
When you receive your plugs or 7cm potted plants, either pot them up or plant them out into their permanent positions. Water as needed, but take care not to overwater. For the best results, protect young plants from snails and slugs.
Chrysanthemum ‘Pink Enbee Wedding’ is an early-flowering variety, blooming sooner than most traditional chrysanthemums. A lovely bonus is that it often produces two flushes of flowers — the first in December to January, then a second in February to March after you prune it back, feed, and keep up regular watering. The second flush is often richer and more clearly coloured, thanks to the cooler late-summer temperatures. A rewarding plant for extended seasonal colour.

Blooming Period: December to March

Growing Options: Can be grown in the ground or in pots

  • Flower Type: Single spray

  • Bloom Time: Summer to early Autumn (December to March in New Zealand)
  • Growth Habit: Upright with strong stems, ideal for cut flowers and display
Cultivation & Care:
  • Pruning:
    • A light tidy-up in February to remove weak shoots
  • Fertilizing:
    • Use a balanced slow-release fertiliser like Novatec or Osmocote
    • Apply sulphate of potash leading up to flowering for improved bloom quality and colour intensity
  • Pinching/Disbudding:
    • Early pinching encourages more branching
    • Disbudding (removing central main bud) helps develop larger, more refined blooms
  • Support: Staking or netting is recommended to keep stems upright, especially in windy areas
  • Watering: Keep soil evenly moist but well-drained to avoid root issues
Special Features & Uses:
  • Can be used in exhibitions
  • Excellent as a cut flower, thanks to its strong stems and petal colour
  • Works beautifully in floral arrangements and garden displays
